as the title suggest..this is me playing the role of a good blogger..
UPDATE: my back hurt and I almost died composing this post! =__= how do people do this?! PROPS YO!
so, im going to blog! complete with edited photos! now, BE PROUD! just cause im THAT lazy!
what brought upon this blogging mojo u ask? owh nothing really..no, really. honestly, I DON’T have a blogging mojo..its just that there is nothing to do online, and im waiting to get into the shower and I really need to update my blog! so here I am!
HELLO!
I decided to blog about one of my very few exciting things that happen in my life this year..that happened quite recently! as you may or may not remember or even
knoww about it..but
I flew to Hong Kong and backk! I went there for a spontaneous 5 days 4 nights (14 - 18.08.2011), holiday trip with my sister, her bf, and their friends. AND I HAD FUN!
Hong Kong. really, its just shopping!
food there..honestly, in my opinion is just
so-so..
but
phew! the lifestyle there sure is fast!! even the old aunty uncles speed walk!
and im sure impressed by the train system! so easy to use! a noob of a child can figure it out after a few rides..
OH and if ure wondering about language barriers? no worries, 90% of them knows how to communicate in English!
now lets see if I can recall where ive been and all..well, I did write it down, but its not complete.
this is going to be a LONGG post!
OH and ive decided to do a separate blog post on my Haul from HK..so just look out for that!
Day 1
|
on the plane, ready for take off |
|
at HK airport waiting for our luggage! |
|
waiting for the train to the city |
|
Chui Wa, Eu Jin & me |
|
the train! the seat were comfyy |
the hotel;
Shamrock Hotel!
ok here is a little
review: the hotel is a small hotel..and we booked it of
Agoda..so its cheap! its NO 5 star la! but service was GREAT..theres like 24/7 round the clock door man service can, and they were all super friendly and helpful..the rooms were CLEAN and not tinee-tiny!
ok here’s a story, since I decided to join my sister super last minute and she did book this a year before..I was just going to order an extra bed and just bunk in my sister’s room! but when we arrive there, the lady advice us to take an upgrade! cause the room (tho will fit) it will be a tad small for 3 people! and they were giving us the upgrade for the same price an additional bed would cost a night! and OMG SO WORTH IT CAN! bigger room, proper bed! not just a single bed..but a QUEEN sized one! (see pictures below)
so, the normal room is smaller than the picture below, but ive seen it..its not like super-small-no-place-to-walk..its just nice la..for two..the area and the hotel safe..nothing was stolen..and the area is super central! few seconds walk and ure at Jordan train station. all around (walking distance) theres shops to eat, 7-11, Watsons, Starbucks, Mcds, bus stops, and taxi stands. Mui Kai is also in walking distance! to round it up..I WOULD SO STAY THERE AGAIN the next time I come to HK!
|

after checking in and getting some rest, we walked to Tsui Wah (about slightly more than 5 mins walk from the hotel)
|
Chui Wa @ Tsui Wah |
Naturally, my sister had to eat here and take a picture! Tsui Wah written in Chinese is the same as my sister’s Chinese name. meaning: same name, same spelling, different pronunciation!
after that, we went on to
City Gate where all the branded warehouse is at. I didn’t manage to take any pictures, honestly theres not much to take, it looks just like a normal mall. mmmm..in terms of pricing and what I saw, the thing that is most worth it to buy is the Ralph Lauren Polo tees..literally half off Malaysian price! didn’t buy anything here.
