EOTN #4: Gryffindor

you may or may not know, but I have mentioned it in previous post and on twitter..I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 2) on the 13th of July 2011 night showing, 9.10pm!

just so ya’ll know..I LOVED IT! it was great! :) but I will say this, I feel that the ending should have been closer to the book cause just in MY opinion, its more epic that way, and I feel that there are significance in the little details (when I read the ending scene in the book)..but overall, it was AWESOME! :P u might say im bias however. and maybe I am!

just 2 hours before I got ready and left the house for the movie, I decided I wanna dressed up a little for it, but not go all out. and I decided to just sport Gryffindor colours on my eyes! :P as I was getting ready, I decided that: since I KNOW that id be watching this movie more than a few times, I would sport a different house colour each time. minimum of 4 times!

meaning, id watch it 4 times and each time id wear the colours of a house: 1st time Gryffindor (done), 2nd time Slytherin, 3rd Ravenclaw, and 4th Hufflepuff!

so keep a look out! :)

1st: Gryffindor!
IMAG0317[13.07.2011]
I took the pictures at the end of the day (cause I forgot to take it earlier) and i do realize, that they are not the best taken pictures.

the colours has dulled through the night, the gold in the inner parts were brighter..
IMAG0320just kinda threw this together..added a little burgundy colour to make it more wearable..(ps: ignore the shiney face!)

on the lids:
mixed 2 golds from both the 88 Colour Palette (2nd row from the left, 4th from the top) and 88 Warm Palette (3rd row from the left, 4th from the top)- place on inner half of the lid (with Sigma E55 brush)
mix red and brown together (last 3rd & 2nd colour from the right respectively from the 88 Colour Palette)- place on the outer half of the lid (with Sigma E55 brush
). adjust to your own liking (the amount of red & brown).
blend the red & the gold together..a nice gradual fade into each other.
take the same brown mention from 88 Colour Palette, create small outter 'V' (to add some dimension) & bring colour to the lower lash line (with Sigma E30 brush
)
blend the crease area with a clean Sigma E40 brush
or add a little Sketch by MAC onto the brush and blend.
Creme by Shades on the browbone & use colour to tidy up (with Etude House large blending brush)
a thin line of black gel liner on the top & bottom lash line
and on the water-line & tight-line with black.
add mascara.

fyi: I kept the rest of the face neutral.
light blush, neutral lips.

HARRY POTTER FTW!
